To save time, you can make use of the template capabilities in SharePoint. You can save any SharePoint Site as a template and use it later to build additional Sites. You need to be the Site owner to be able to use this functionality.
From the Site that you want to save as a template, go to Site settings, select “Save site as template” under “Site Actions” heading, and enter your template details.
You can give the template a name, description, and chose whether to include the Site content as well. Including content allows you to create new Sites pre-populated with content. Please note that item security is not transferable to a template.
Once the template is created, it can be found inside solution gallery of your Site Collection.
This short video walks you through the process of saving a Site as a template.
